'Every five years, the Grand City of Xenaria holds a Renaissance Fair at the Origin to remember the founding of the city and determine new leadership. 'Travellers, adventurers, and rogues alike are granted ceremonial ‘citizenship’ to enter the Origin, where feasting and merriment abound. Explore the teeming markets, be entertained by sword tournaments, and discover talented bards from across the myriad realms, alongside fun performances from different members of the houses, open TTRPG games, and silly puzzles to be solved to bless the city for the next quinquennial.

1. When and where is The Origin: Ren Faire SG held?
Date: Saturday, 31 January 2026 and Sunday, 1 February 2026
Time: Gates open 2 PM; Festivities end at 9PM
Venue: Fort Canning Park (Old Married Solders Quarter), Singapore
2. How do I buy tickets?
Early bird tickets will be on sale on our website starting from SGD8.80 per person (early bird price). Join our email list to be the first to learn when tickets are available!
Normal tickets are SGD11 per person -- invite your whole kampung! For every 6 tickets sold the 7th person goes free.
On-the-day tickets (if available) are S$16 at the gate.3. What’s included with my ticket?
- Entry to the Fairegrounds & all core story-telling activities
- Participation in guild quests (clue & loot hunts)
- Access to live performances, and games (certain activities are restricted to more valuable ticket tiers, such as DND tables)
- Eligibility to join the Costume & Guild Champion contests
- Free mini Faire Map as memorabilia
- Access to the Market's stamp rally
4. Can I bring children, pets, or strollers?
Children: Welcome, little adventurers! However, many activities have a recommended age of 13 and up; please supervise the little adventurers at all times. Little adventurers must hold a valid ticket to enter.
Pets: pets and service animals permitted. Please leash your pets and clean up after them.Strollers: OK on paved pathways—but most of our event is held on the grass, which can be uneven.5. What should I wear?
Costume is highly encouraged but not required. Feel free to deck yourself out in Renaissance-inspired garb, fairy dresses, or comfy modern attire. Closed-toe shoes recommended for uneven terrain. We do not recommend high heels for our event. Please do not wear revealing or scary costumes and abide by Singapore laws. Organizers reserve the right to remove guests who dress in overly revealing or gory costumes.
6. What happens if it rains?
We’re outdoors, so please bring an umbrella or raincoat. As much as possible, the Faire will continue on regardless of weather. Ponchos will also be available for purchase on site, in limited quantities.
Key activity zones (workshops, market) are under tents.
7. Are there food & drink options?
Yes — local artisan food stalls and drink vendors will be on-site.
Outside food & bottled water are also permitted (we encourage reusable bottles). It is highly recommended to enter the event with at least 500ml of water.
There are water points at the park as well.
8. Is the event wheelchair- and stroller-accessible?
Fort Canning Green has gentle slopes and paved paths. However, much of the Faire is conducted on the field. Adventurers are welcome to wander the paths, but activities and parts of the market may be less accessible.
9. Can I volunteer or vend?
Vendors: Early Bird Applications are currently open on our website.
Volunteers: We need help with guest services, guild quests, and setup/teardown—sign up via the Volunteer page which opens mid December.
10. What safety measures are in place?
-Certified first-aid volunteer + fully stocked medical kit on-site
- Professional security team at all entrances and roaming the grounds
11. Is there parking or public transport nearby?
-MRT: Fort Canning Station (DT20), Dhoby Ghaut Station, Clarke Quay Station → 5-min walk via Dhoby Ghaut.
- Bus: Several routes stop at Stamford Road/Clarke Quay.
- Parking: Limited lots at Fort Canning Park. We strongly encourage public transport or ride-hailing.
12. What photography/videography rules apply?
Personal photography & social-media sharing 👍
Professional filming requires a permit—please contact us in advance.
Drones cannot be used in Fort Canning Park.
DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH OTHER FAIREGOERS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT.
13. What if I need to cancel or get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable to another person.
